Recently, Demeas launched the GENIBOX integrated vehicle measurement and control terminal. Designed for automotive engineering scenarios such as full-vehicle R&D, ADAS calibration, chassis performance testing, and powertrain trials, this highly integrated, multi-protocol compatible distributed system delivers one-stop data acquisition, real-time monitoring, and synchronized analysis for road testing.

In the typical architecture for real-vehicle testing, GENIBOX serves as the core human-machine interface and data hub for the entire measurement system. It seamlessly integrates with DXONE/FIDES-UNI16 high-precision signal acquisition units to build a complete in-vehicle testing platform. The system supports multiple CAN/CAN-FD bus connections, is compatible with automotive Ethernet communication, and features built-in WiFi and GPS antennas for wireless data transmission and synchronized collection of vehicle position and attitude data. Additionally, it can connect to an external DM-IMU01 inertial measurement unit to precisely capture motion parameters such as acceleration and angular velocity.

The solution supports diverse sensor signal integration: wheel force sensors (WPT), pedal force sensors, seat acceleration sensors, thermocouple temperature sensors, and multi-channel strain/pressure sensors (9712B, 9327C, 9323A, etc.), enabling synchronized acquisition of analog, temperature, and mechanical load signals. Dedicated SYNC CABLEs ensure precise clock synchronization between GENIBOX and the front-end data acquisition host for accurate multi-source time alignment. The system also includes a Handle controller and BRAKE SWITCH to allow operators to easily control test procedures and mark test conditions during vehicle operation.

GENIBOX integrates a high-definition touch display, enabling test personnel to visualize real-time monitoring of all collected data, waveform curves, and operating conditions while the vehicle is in motion—no external host computer required. The device supports 9~36V wide-range vehicle power supply, seamlessly adapting to passenger and commercial vehicle electrical environments. With excellent shock resistance and wide-temperature operation capabilities, it meets the demands of rigorous outdoor road testing conditions.
